How can I be tested?

Getting tested with miRview® squamous

How the test works
miRview® squamous is different from other tests. It is very accurate because it uses highly sensitive, cutting-edge technology that measures tiny amounts of material in your tumor sample. The material it measures is called microRNA.
The microRNA measurements tell your doctor whether you have squamous or non-squamous NSCLC. These measurements are very accurate. In fact, the sensitivity and specificity of this test have been shown to be 97% and 91%, respectively1.

How to get the test
miRview® squamous requires a small sample of your tumor tissue. In most cases, a new biopsy is not needed. If you have already had a biopsy or surgery, your doctor probably already has the sample he or she needs.
Once your doctor has the sample, he or she will send it to Rosetta Genomics. Your doctor should receive your test results from Rosetta Genomics within 10 business days.

The best way to be sure your doctor is using miRview® squamous is to ask. Find out which test(s) he or she plans to use to diagnose your cancer. If your doctor is not familiar with miRview® squamous, click on the button at the top of the page to print out information to bring to your next appointment.

miRview® squamous can help you move forward
