About miRview™ squamous
What is miRview™ squamous?
miRview™ squamous is a new kind of test. Your doctor can use it to tell if you have squamous NSCLC or non-squamous NSCLC.
How does miRview™ squamous work?
miRview™ squamous is different from other tests. It is more accurate because it uses cutting-edge technology to measure tiny amounts of material in your tumor sample1. The material it measures is called microRNA.Once your sample has been tested, miRview™ squamous generates a clear, easy-to-understand report. Your doctor will receive this report about 10 days after he or she sends in your sample for processing. The report will tell your doctor whether you have squamous NSCLC or non-squamous NSCLC. How accurate is miRview™ squamous?
miRview™ squamous uses highly sensitive technology to measure the level of microRNAs in your sample. The sensitivity and specificity of this test have been shown to be 97% and 91%, respectively2.
