How can I be tested?

Getting tested with miRview® mets2

How the test works
The miRview® mets2 tests are different from other tests. They are more accurate because they use highly sensitive, cutting-edge technology that measures tiny amounts of material in your tumor sample. The material measured is called microRNA.

The microRNA measurements tell your doctor where in your body the cancer started. These measurements are very accurate. miRview® mets has been shown to identify the origin of cancer with 90% sensitivity1.

How to get the test
The miRview® mets tests require a small sample of your tumor tissue. In most cases, a new biopsy is not needed. If you have already had a biopsy or surgery, your doctor probably already has the sample he or she needs.

Once your doctor has the sample, he or she will send it to Rosetta Genomics. Your doctor should receive your test results from Rosetta Genomics within 10 business days.

The best way to be sure your doctor is using miRview® mets is to ask. Find out which test(s) he or she plans to use to diagnose your cancer. If your doctor is not familiar with miRview® mets, click on the button at the top of the page to print out information to bring to your next appointment.
