The miRview mets assays utilize proprietary technologies developed by Rosetta Genomics for extraction and quantification of microRNAs. Based on the expression level of the extracted microRNAs, the tests utilize two classiferes to assign the tested sample with a predicted primary origin.
miRview® mets - This qRT-PCR based test measures the expression level of 48 microRNAs and can identify 25 primary origin of metastases.
NEW - miRview® mets2 - This is a second generation version of miRview® mets. This test uses custom-designed microarray technology and can identify 42 primary origins by measuring the expression level of 64 microRNAs.
