About miRview™ mets

What is miRview™ mets?
miRview™ mets is a new kind of test for cancer patients who either are not yet diagnosed or have been diagnosed with CUP. Your doctor can use it to identify the primary origin of your cancer.

How does miRview™ mets work?
miRview™ mets is different from other tests. It is very accurate because it uses cutting-edge technology to measure tiny amounts of material in your tumor sample1. The material it measures is called microRNA.

Once your sample has been tested, miRview™ mets generates a clear, easy-to-understand report. Your doctor will receive this report about 10 days after he or she sends in your sample for processing. In most cases, this report will be able to tell your doctor the primary origin of your cancer.

How accurate is miRview™ mets?
miRview™ mets uses highly sensitive technology to measure the level of microRNAs in your sample. In the majority of cases, miRview™ mets gives a single answer, which identifies the origin of the cancer with 90% sensitivity and 99% specificity2.
