Your doctor will receive a report about 10 days after your tumor sample arrives at Rosetta Genomics’ labs. The report will show if your cancer is malignant pleural mesothelioma or something else. If your cancer is not malignant pleural mesothelioma, it may be another type of lung cancer. It could also be a completely different kind of cancer from another part of your body that has metastasized to the lung or pleura.
